JUNIORS OUTING - Kam River & 1st Spike – Saturday, June, 16th, 2018

An outing over the Westfort Walking Bridge (over the train tracks) to the Kam River to examine what is growing along the banks and possible water birds. This is the home of the 1st spike for the CPR’s transcontinental railway. The outing will be followed up by a visit to the Mary Black Library and their Ontario Nature’s trading post. Meet at the bridge south of the corner of Brown and Frederica Streets at 2:00 pm.  Contact Marian Childs 577-1324.
