
The 1998 Thunder Bay Christmas Bird Count was held on Dec. 26.
52 species were tallied, one short of the record 53 set in 1994.
Four additions were made to the list: Golden-crowned Kinglet,
Spotted Towhee, House Finch and Meadowlark (sp?).
Varied Thrush female was found in Current River.Killdeer (see below) was last seen Dec. 23rd in Thunder Bay.
