By being a member of the Thunder Cape Bird Observatory you will be helping to finance the day to day operations at the cape. You will also receive the Thunder Cape News, published twice a year by the Thunder Cape Bird Observatory Committee. This newsletter will keep you up to date on what's happening at Thunder Cape.

The Thunder Cape Bird Observatory T-shirts feature the TCBO logo on the front. These cotton shirts come in sizes M-L and XL. The following colours are available: red, yellow, light gray, blue-gray, dull green, turquoise, peach and bright green.Please indicate colour preference when you order and give second choice as well, in case a particular colour/size combination is sold out.
The price is $17 per T-shirt.
These are numbered full-colour limited edition prints entitled "Warblers of Thunder Cape", printed on fine paper and signed by the artist, well-known bird illustrator Alan Pearson. There are only 250 of these 30 x 40 cm prints available. They are very attractive and suitable for framing.
You can own one for just $25
This is a unique way for you to support the activities of the Observatory. You can now "adopt" a banded Saw-whet Owl, Sharp-shinned Hawk or Magnolia Warbler, or adopt one as a gift for a friend. You (or your friend) will receive in the mail a personalized certificate of adoption showing the date when your adopted bird was banded and the band code number. It also features a colour photograph of "your" adopted bird.
If your adopted bird is later recovered, perhaps at another observatory far away, you will be sent details of where and when it was found.
The cost of adopting a banded bird is as follows:
Magnolia Warbler $15.00
Sharp-shinned Hawk $25.00
Saw-whet Owl $50.00
Adopt-a-Bird certificates will be mailed free of the usual $4.00 shipping fee!

Orders are to be sent by mail. Please indicate clearly the item(s) you are ordering and in the case of T-shirts, the size and colour of each. Include your full name and address, as well as your phone number in case we need to get in touch with you. If you wish to order an item as a gift for someone else, please include the recepient's name and mailing address as well. Prices are in Canadian dollars for shipping within Canada. Please inquire about shipping to other countries.
There is a shipping and handling fee of $4.00 per order, which must be included.
For Adopt-a-Bird, do not add the shipping and handling fee.
